Following the Government announcements today, and updated guidelines from Tennis Ireland, we have taken the unfortunate but inevitable decision to close the Club from midnight tonight. This also means that the junior coaching programme cannot continue next week as originally scheduled.
We will keep you informed of any updates we receive from the relevant governing bodies as this latest phase proceeds. In the meantime, please stay safe as we look forward to a new year and a fresh start.
There was no increase in membership fees in 2017 but a modest increase in fees in 2018 to cover insurance and maintenance on our new all-weather courts was agreed at the recent AGM.
The membership year commences on 1st February.
The carpeting of the two new courts was completed in 2017 and so we now have a total of six all weather courts. There will be a great programme of events throughout the year, both social and competitive, which we would encourage new and existing members to take part in.
Subscriptions are the main source of income for the club and so once again, we hope that all our members will encourage friends, family and work colleagues to join the club. Prospective members are allowed to play free of charge three times before joining, see website for details.
You may choose to pay for your membership by Cheque, Cash or Bank Transfer. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Trackside Lawn Tennis Club’. Completed registration forms should be left with the caretaker on duty and marked for the attention of Fiana O’Hanlon
If you wish to make payment for your membership by bank transfer, please quote your name as reference. (Please note: application form should also be completed and handed in to the club)
